The appsNmobile foundation together with the Accra Diamond Lions Club have renovated a section of the female ward of the Accra Psychiatric hospital to mark the company’s second anniversary.
This exercise is in line with the company’s objectives of becoming one of the most influential technology companies in CSR.
The works involved, refurbishment of the nurses’ working space part of which also serves as dining area for patients, and the seclusion room by lining the walls with foam and leather to avoid injury to aggressive or agitated patients. In addition, the entire Female Ward 2 compound was painted.
Handing over the newly refurbished facility to the hospital, the CEO of appsNmobile Mr. Richard Bansah admonished the management of the hospital to imbibe fully the culture of maintenance among the staff of the hospital in order to preserve its properties and equipment. He added that appsNmobile is always ready to assist the psychiatric hospital in any capacity it can, as such management should not hesitate to call on the company when it is in need.
