MTN Ghana has awarded the Fintech company, appsNmobile Solutions, as an emerging and innovative Fintech partner of MTN Mobile Money.
The award which was presented on the 10th anniversary of MTN MoMo is recognizing the innovative efforts of appsNmobile in promoting financial inclusion and enhancing the penetration of mobile money.
The wholly-owned Ghanaian company is a PCI DSS certified payment aggregator with vast B2B experience in Ghana.
According to the CEO of the company, Richard Bansah, “the company is keen on promoting financial inclusion as such, even though the company focuses on integrating enterprises and large organizations, it has developed several innovative financial applications that are easy to use by players in the informal sector to facilitate payment receipts across various sectors”.
As a leading Fintech, the company has invented a Virtual Point of Sale (Vpos) platform that enables organizations such as churches to receive tithes and offerings through mobile money, schools to receive fees, OMC’s and supermarkets to receive mobile money payment for their service. It has also invented the Golden Tree platform was developed to enable companies to purchase produce from farmers and pay them safely with audit trails using mobile money, Tricklz was developed to offer the average Ghanaian without access to credit the chance to shop and pay for items in installment.
Mr. Bansah is confident that large enterprises will begin to gain trust in the Ghanaian Fintechs and mobile money in general in the coming years to spur the growth of the industry.
